color scheme purple, white, and black? help designing my room?
Hi, so I am a teen and i really want to redecorate my room to be more grown up, but on a budget. the color scheme i want is purple, white, and a little black. i want my room to be chic and classic. i like the stuff at pb teen, but it is really expensive. i have to keep my furnitue, but i am allowed buy paint, a chair or whatever, accents, and bedding. right now i have a bed (all the furniture i'm listing is a very light wood color), bedside table, desk, and a dresser. do you have some ideas on how i could make it really cool?
i had an idea where i paint one of my walls purple, but then the rest creme. do you like that?
i love these two chandeliers, but they are too expensive. where can i get them for cheaper or some that look like it?

I think finding the white and pink chandelier will be the best bet... go to thrift stores, or even walmart and get a cheapo... buy the pink lamp shades at Lowe's and paint it white! You can totally find it... it might take you some time to find the right one but its very possible. With your room color try:

Its soooooo much fun! you'll love it!! I hope this helps.. P.S. Purple, black and white -AWESOME! Go with purple walls, if your room is smaller go with a lighter purple... maybe a soft whitish lavender, and if its open and big enough go for a deeper plum color that would be awesome.! Accessorize with Black and white pics and black and white frames.... it will be really balanced and it will look great!
